OXNARD, California – Tuesday's practice may be the most in-depth and valuable day of training camp in 2025 as the Los Angeles Rams visited Oxnard for a joint practice with the Cowboys.
The two hours of practice included plenty of team drills between Brian Schottenheimer's new-look offense against reigning defensive rookie of the year Jared Verse, and Matt Eberflus' banged up defensive unit against a loaded wide receiver corps, led by Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.
While the Cowboys defense had some good reps towards the end of practice, big plays to Adams and in the run game provided a look at how depleted the unit really is. Additionally, the Cowboys offense had success in the two-minute drills and play-call periods, but they struggled in the redzone against a talented Rams front seven.
